Default broken gauge button

I searched as many ways as I could, but for some reason I cant get a single post to show up even though I read it here before... anyways, the adjust button on my 03 fell out of place I guess so the button doesnt work. Can anyone give me an idea of what to do with it before I tear it apart? I know ive read about this problem before but cant find anything. Thanks in advance

No real tricks here. I read another thread where they used tape and tweezers.

Default RE: broken gauge button

Had this happen on my 04. I ended up trying the tweezers and even paperclips since the area is so small. I could get it to fit down, but it never stayed there. I ended up taking it to my dealer and they had to take the speedo apart and superglue the backside of the button to get it to stay in place.

They also told me initially that it was covered under warranty, but after working on it that it actually wasn't. They never charged me since the told me it was at first. Its a pain reguardless to fix, so GL.
