I'm sure a 100 different people will give you 100 different answers to this one. I can't offer you anything, having never ridden a 600RR, but I can recommend that you post this in the 600RR forum for a better response.

obviously the 600rr

lighter, more mid range, and better build quality, enough said.

the results are in....
the 6RR wins by a landslide!

It's a CBR... that's enough!

LOL i was asking this cause my friend owns a r6 and he was telling me to get it instead of the cbr 600. So i was curious to see which is better and why? Maybe he made a mistake in buying it and wanted to drag me to the tombs with him lol well ill take everyones word for it and go out and get a cbr 600 thanks. Safe everyone!!!!

ive ridden both and love my CBR infinitely more than the R6. Im not saying that the R6 is a bad bike but i feel that the cbr is just better quality. more comfortable, better power range, better looking. Ive ridden a 00, 01, and a 06 r6 and prefer my 07 CBR (obviously)

The r6 is wider, and I can't even touch the ground on it, because it pushes my legs out to far to the sides. I like the looks of the new r1's way better than the cbr1krr's though.

x2!!

But you can't ask people on a CBR forum which to choose. You will have to test ride your buddies R6 and test ride a CBR and decide for yourself. It's been said before, "100 different people will give you 100 different answers."

If you went to a Yami forum, they would probably all say the R6 is a better buy, simply because they are Yami enthusiasts. You are going to have to make your own choice on this one!!

Good luck with your decision and keep us posted!!

Kenny

i have an 01 r6 track bike and my street is 06 cbr600rr and by far the cbr is much more an enjoyable ride, dont get me wrong the 600rr is a beast on the track but why risk ruining such a beautiful bike at the track. now on the other hand the r6 is nice too in its own ways but is more of a concentration bike meaning 110% is demanded to put it through its pace's. if i had to keep only 1.....bye bye yammi. honda is too well rounded to pass up. imo
