Best price on a new 600RR?
I went on vacation for a week and some hater took my 600RR from the gated underground parking at my apartment complex. I'm gonna get a new one (and a chain lock) once I get the check from my insurance co. I paid 8950 OTD for the bike in May, and I'd like to try to get a better deal this time. I read the thread about how much everyone paid for their bike and it looks like the best deal was around 8100 OTD, but that was in TN. I'm in San Diego and I'm looking for feedback on what you think would be the best thing to offer the dealer for a brand new one. The only things I would want with the deal would be a free 600 mile service and Vortex sliders installed. Also a good chain lock.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

If you're willing to travel quite a ways, here's ProCycle in Columbia Missouri
http://www.procycleusa.com/index.cfm...les&baseid=962
$7620 + "* Price does not include $219 Setup, $95 Freight/Handling, and $65 Processing charge. "
$7999 OTD
Looks like the only color they have in stock right now is light metallic silver. If I were you and wanting an RR, I'd wait til the '07's come out.

I got mine from quinseys lemon grove and paid 9400 otd for a 06 orange tribal. I got the 5 year honda extended, rear seat cowl, and gap. I feel I got a pretty god deal for mine. oh yes and 86 the chain lock and get yourself a bike brace. That is if the place where you live will let you put one in the ground. I requested to be able to bolt on into the ground from my apartment complex and explained to them why and they had no problem with it as long as I either did one of two things. Let them install it or have a licensed professional install it for me. I just let a professional put it into the ground for me. I also after it was bolted into the ground had a friend come over and weld the bolts to the brace so they couldnt be unbolted from the ground. two attempts have been made at theft and 0 successful. I am a huge believer in the bike brace.

If my apartment will let me get one installed....it looks like a GREAT thing to get for security. There is no way for anyone to get your bike with this unless they get a toolset there and dissasemble the whole rear end of the bike
