Personally I always change the filter with an oil change. K&N filters are saaweet and Mobil 1 15/50 for me.

As long as you don't use Fram filters any oil change is good Oil to avoid is the energy conserving ...

Why is moly bad to have in oil. Honda sells a pro oil with moly in it. What does it do? And does honda manufacture the pro oil themselves ?
moly is fine to use if you have a dry clutch or your transmission is in a seperate casing from your motor
in all sport bikes though you have a wet clutch, meaning your engines oil also runs through your transmission
the moly will cause your clutch to slip and wear excessively

it can also be referred to as energy conserving or friction modified

I'm a Honda GN4 fan myself. Why not use the oil that Honda makes........therefore if it ever does break down from lack of lubrication......you could always say "it was your oil".

Honda GN4 costs the exact same as the others too.........and I always change the filter (OEM Honda filter) every oil change.
