Sylvania Silverstars are very nice. Considerable increase in projected light. And I just saw an advert on TV for Sylvania Ultra lights - no specs known at this time.
Do you want to be able to see better at night or are you looking for a cosmetic upgrade?

Get a couple of hid kits for the bike. They'll increase visibility plus they look sweeeeeeetttt!!! Angel eyes do look sweet though I was going to put them on my bike but sold it before I got the chance. The local advance auto store had the two ring kit for 15 dollars in store!

The angel eye kits look really sweet with projector style headlights, but up close, they look pretty rediculous with our style of headlights. No matter what distance you view them from, they always look like they're glued-on rings on the headlight lens. (plus, you have to crack open your headlight housing to install them). The HID's are a HUGE difference not only with visability, but how the vehicle looks with them on.
With the HID's, you can get any temperature color from 3500k to 15,000k (even 30,000k). The 3500k HID's are yellowish, the 8,000k are close to what BMW cars have, and the 12,000k (which I have on my car) have a very deep bluish-purple look to them. I will tell you though, the higher the k rating, the less light output there is on the road. If you stick around the 8,000k mark, you'll get a very bright-white road illumination, but retain a rich blue color from the headlights.
Depending where you buy them, the lowest prices I've seen have been around $150 for an H7 single bulb and ballast kit. (so about $300 bucks for both headlights on our bikes). Shop around online (not ebay, actual HID resellers). People on ebay love to order blue-coated bulbs from Japan and call them HID's.
If you don't want to go with the HID route, you can always pick up the PIAA bulbs. They're expensive (about $40 bucks a bulb), but you can get the color very close to HID's and still have a bright white illumination on the street.
Hope this helps.
