Ahhhhh Rear pre load adjustment
Ok, so the idiot at the stealership sold me a spanner wrench for my bike but it only goes one way. SOFT! Am I an idiot? Is it so hard I can't figure out how to use the wrench to turn the pre load towards hard? I tried simply turning the wrench around but it wont go behind the shock there isn't enough room. The one he sold me is a long flat metal doublesided with a large mouth on one end and a small mouth on the other. Any suggestions?

RE: Ahhhhh Rear pre load adjustment
It hooks in the notches on the shock collar. You can see the ramp around the shock right? You spin that and each notch in the "ramp" is either higher or lower preload. Dont just turn it towards "Hard", set you sag using the pre load, then do the same for the forks. If you do a search for it Im sure it has been discussed here how to set static sag.

RE: Ahhhhh Rear pre load adjustment
That idiot must have sold me the wrong wrench. It only fits on one side of the collar and only turns in one direction. It is too big to fit on the other side and turn it towards the other direction. What f***ing idiots do they have at that place. I am so irritated.
