adjusting rear preload?

Default adjusting rear preload?

im trying to adjust my rear preload, right now its set at 1, which is way to stiff. so im trying to turn it clockwise to loosen it up, but i cant seem to get it to turn at all. am i doing something wrong or what?

I could be smoked out, but #1 is the softest setting, If you're on the left side of the motorcycle and you're turning the wrench so it's going towards the back of the bike then you've hit the stop, and you can't go softer. Check again... I'm pretty sure on this... Lemme know.

then i guess its on number 10, ive gotta turn the wrench toward the front, clockwise. i still havnt gotten it to turn.

Ok, if you have the honda wrench that came in the tool kit, and you got the handle part on it for leverage, that should be enough... Douse it with WD, or get a drift in there to start the stepped ring to turn. Probably dealing with a bit of rust. Good luck!

I think? I'm a big Joey Dunlop fan.... I have RC-fifty-none as well. The illustration seem to fit! ....lol
