Default Adjusting the Idle -- NEED HELP PLEASE

Hey Guys,
On a previous post, i asked what other peoples normal idels were and they stated about 1300 RPM +/- 100. Right now, mine idles at 1700. Can anybody post directions on how to fix the idle.

Also need good links or posts on how to change oil and coolant !!! Thanks Guys

p.s.-- i did use the search feature, just didn't come up with anything

Do you have your motorcycle operation manual? It's all in there...

The idle adjuster is on the left side of the bike near the motor...it's a small dial and can be a bit difficult to turn at times.

It's got a couple other useful write-ups too.

All you have to do to adjust it is turn it left or right. When you turn it you will hear and see the idle change.

Dude, jump on the 5, head south and stop in Oceanside. Drop me a line before you do, and I'll meet up with you. Changing the idle is very easy and very quick.
