Default Additional Equipment Suggestions???

In preparation for the RR that I hope to be getting either sooner or later, could you guys give me the rundown on what all additional equipment I need to plan to pick up?? And, which brands and stores to you recommend for best buys, etc?

So far this is what I know I'll need:

1. New Helmut (which brand is recommended for comfort + looks + protection?)
2. Leathers (brand & where to buy?)
3. Riding Boots (brand & where to buy?)
4. Gloves (brand & where to buy?)
5. Jack Stand for oil changes, cleaning, etc. (which brand is best? Buy from whom?) Do I need front + back???
6. Some oil (which brand & where do you guys get yours?)
7. Oil filters (where do you guys get yours?)

Anything else???

Guys I TRULY appreciate you giving me advice to jump start my riding. I'm big into the Corvette world & know exactly what to recommend there to give anyone a headstart - but this is a new world to me. It really saves me time & money to listen to you guys who've been there, done that with 600RRs.

THANKS!!!!!

Honda polish gives it a show room look for little effort.

Check you link, it does not link to the polish... nothing but pop ups for me.

I choose Honda polish because it smells like coconuts. I use it on my cars too. It's the gold standard, trust us.

Need a good helmet? Buy an Arai. Find a good dealer and have him fit you. Spare no expense on the helmet, they're worth it.

My bad...try --> http://www.zainostore.com

It smells like cherrys. VERY nice & easy to use. AWESOME shine. It's the rage in the Corvette world. They have a multistep process that is explained thoroughly. The stuff is pure MAGIC!!

**************

Agreed on buying a great helmet. That's mandatory.

I use that stuff on my cars also, it is great. Seems some of the bike specific stuff is a little better though.
