Default Absolutely amazing

Just picked up my brand spankin new 08 600rr. This bike is totally amazing. Researched her a lot online and finally went for it (you only live once). At any rate this bike is by far the sweetest bike i have ever rode in over 15 years of biking. For any of you on the fence, go ahead and buy it, i guarantee you will not be disappointed...

It's an amazing machine I love mine, even if it's my first set of two wheels. Just worried that I might have spoiled myself and nothing will be greater.

We'll see

I agree with y'all absolutely NOT for first timers, its kinda scary fast for me...the acceleration is what amazes me way more than the speed. So, anyone seen any 08 rr customs yet? plus i would appreciate any advice on the hp gains that come with adding aftermarket pipes...

RounderRU saw a 9hp gain with his Akrapovic Evolution Full Exhaust System and PC3 custom map.

I will be dyno'ing my '07(same engine)around April time frame with a slip-on and custom map. Will keep you posted.

As far as custom '08rr's, I've seen only frame sliders, slip-on exhausts on a few here and there. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I was amazed with the difference between my previous 06 compared to the new 07 I just purchased. It feels so much lighter on it's feet, and the handling is absolutely spot on.

^^ Yep. It feels SO much lighter. Even though is a minor weight difference, you can REALLY feel it. After riding the 07, the 06 seems sluggish and heavy. With my 06, I usually put the bike into a rhythmic dance between the center stripes on the road, slaloming in between them. Was my favorite thing to do. I did the same thing today on the 07 and HOLY CRAP does it love to dive into the corners! I was doubling my slalom speed, and could still go faster if I wanted.

So yea, night and day difference INDEED!
