Default 600rr vs EVO

I have a friend with a Lancer Evo who claims his Evo will out corner my 600rr. We talked about doing some clover-leaves off the freeway and he doesnt think I can hang. I realize im going to get a biased opinion on this site but I was hoping that someone on here has an Evo and a 600rr and could shed some light. What do you guys think? I know it has everything to do with skill, so lets justassume a skilled rider is on the 600rr (not claimimg I am). He is a total 'make it or break it' guy, if he cant hang with me I could see him sliding right off the road, rather than slowing down. He used to have a '98 f3 and he says he can corner way harder in his Evo than he could on his f3, so thats what his opinion is based on.I think the Evos are badass cars I just dont see it out cornering a streetbike. So all things equal,i.e. no slicks, dry conditions, skilled driver, skilled rider, which one doyou think would come out on top?

Cars out corner bikes. You will lose. (Actually you'll probably hit an oil spot and the next time we will be reading about you will be in an obituary.) Don't be a dumbass, the car will win in a cornering contest. If you want proof go look up some top gear vids on youtube.

4 brakes and 4 big tires (that are connected to drivetrain) with big contact pacthes with 300 + hp vs. two tiny contact patches on two wheels...

Cars can corner better than bikes. It's entirely about traction. The four huge contact patches win. Also, cars can powerslide in a more controlled manner and are easier to save once the tires do break traction. If he does lose traction he will be less likely to crash and/or die than you will be.

Here is a video from Top Gear. They are a little biased but it does demonstrate where bikes are better than cars and where they are not.

Thanks for the good links. Looks like I was wrong, Im alright with that.

For those of you who think Im gonna run out and try and kill myself trying to prove someone wrong, you def dont know me. Hitting the clover-leaves near my house is hardly anymore dangerous than being at the track. There are no guardrails and they are surrounded by big grass fields.

I don't know where you're at... but the exits/entrance ramps/cloverleaves/whatever have an awful lot of crap on them that I wouldn't wanna come into contact with going ***** to the wall
