Top 3 accessories...
1. Gear
2. Gear
3. Gear

If you're not wearing gear you shouldn't be riding at all

Helmet (DOT approved)
Full fingered gloves
Long sleeves (prefferably an armored Jacket)
Long pants (armored as well)
over the ankle shoes (prefferably boots)

"dress for the crash, not the ride" I couldn't agree more!

As everyone said gear, There arent many parts and acessories out for the 07 yet. You will need to wait a little. Only thing I have seen is a cowl, brake light, and rearsets.

What the hell you need nx and u4 for??? And dry nx is horrible..... I dont see this being a drag bike. PCIII and Pipe are the only thing I see a standard person using.

There's no guarantee that frame sliders would've done anything. That's not what frame sliders are for!

Well frame sliders's primary purpose is not to save your fairings but it's a nice bonus. Anyway, Their porpouse is exactly what their name says, to take impact from your frame by sliding over the floor in the event that you put it down. Because of their design and costruction they will also take some of te impact away from the clutch cover, engine cover, and side fairings. This doesn't mean that your fairings will not get scratched, but in a fall where normally you would rip the fairings off, they might just get scratched the hell out of them.

NOTING, I repeat, NOTHING can prevent damage on certain types of crashes so dont expect too much of your frame sliders. (hell not even a "freestyle cage", "stunter's cage" can prevent some types of damage).

IMO the best accesories to get go as follows:
GEAR:
[ol][*]Good helmet ( I would go for DOT and SNELL aproved)[*]Jacket with armor[*]gloves[*]Pants[*]Boots[*]Rain suit (if you are going to comute)[*]MSF Course[*]Track Day's[/ol]
For Your bike
[ol][*]Frame sliders[*]Swingarm spools/sliders[*]Tank pad (to prevent scratches)[/ol]
After taking care of your safety and your bike then go for the cool factor:
[ol][*]LED turn signals (hot bodies or the like)[*]Fender eliminator[*]Wind shield[*]Rim tape[/ol]
Then after getting used to the bike and getting comfortable Id start upgrading power.

[ol][*]Slip ON[*]PCIII[*]Sprocket kit[*]rear set[/ol]
Things NOT TO GET
[ol][*]Lowering links (why would anybody lower these bikes, apart from not reaching the floor. is beyond me)[*]Nitrous, again, a 600 is not a drag bike[*]extended swingarm[*]Colored Tires (they might look ?cool? but htey give HORRIBLE GRIP (this is from forum reviews i havent tryed them)[/ol]
Anyway congrats on a great bike! be safe and have fun.
