i'm going to trade my headlight and pay $500 for these... are they worth it?

 

While they look good, I would still have to say no. You could get quite a bit of other things for 500 bones.

 

The view from the front looks great, but I am wondering if you can seal the back off any better. It won't be very resistant to the elements hanging open like that.

 

I agree with yellow it looks sweet, but for 500 dont know bout that. if it were a straight trade for the headlight for headlight then fug yah!!

dude, there is a build thread somewhere on the web to make them yourself. could probably do it for half, nd its much more rewarding when you can tell someone you made that bad *** mod instead of "o yea i bought it off some kid"

 

i don't have the time to make one... i have the thread that shows you how to make the tsx projector mod, but that's only one projector on each headlight... i like the look of 2 projectors... does anyone know someone who is willing to sell their projector headlights?

 

Yeah.... Dude just pick up some HIDs and spent the rest of the money on some rearsets or a power commander. No one is looking at your lights anyways, your moving too quickly. Granted it is cool, but its all show factor and no go factor.

 

projectors aren't cheap... the tsx, which is the closes fit and it goes for about $200 per pair... now... stock headlights are already $200... add another $200 and thats $400... plus the time and the extra stuff, and tools required to make this mod... $500 asking price is what i think fair... if you made projector headlights, would you sell them for $400 only? i don't think any of us here would sell it for lower than $450...

 

They look great, I'd say do it.
