will '07 front calipers fit on an '05?

 

They are designed different aren't they? Find some pictures b/c they may be mounted different and not work.

 

they are both radial mount, 310mm, just don't know if the bolt pattern is the same

 

yes they will fit

almost all japanese sport bikes have the same hole pattern for the front calipers and my buddy has a set on his 06

you will see write ups everywhere about people switching out calipers
the R1 caliper is popular because it comes with spacers that allow you to use 330mm brake rotors. also gsxr calipers are popular as well.

still with the exception of brembo the 07 600RR calipers are pretty top notch
