a friend of mine trashed his 600rr (2005) and another friend is converting his 2003 600rr so hes willing to sell all of his street stuff for a good price to the other friend... if he buys ALL of the fairings will they bolt up?

he doesnt care if it changes the way the bike looks, he just wants to know if the parts will bolt up if EVERY fairing is changed?

if not are any of the parts the same? the sides? the tail? the upper? the headlight? frame?

The fairings should all work except for the rear fairing, you will need to change sub frame. You would also need the ram air for the front fairing.

 

No... the 03-04 are different than the 05-06.


You can make it work, but you have to due the following according to one of our members:

Yes , All you need to get the upper to fit is the Ram air tube and box that sits in the upper.
Other then the upper and windscreen, you will need the left and the right air ducts, spoiler, and the cover, here are the part numbers...
Right air duct- 64330-MEE-D00
Left air duct- 64380-MEE-A00
Spoiler- 64321-MEE-D00
Cover- 64230-MEE-D00
The spoiler is the bottom piece, and the cover is the piece that the air ducts mount with, you can see the parts with the microfiche on ronayers.com if you want to check that out, you will also need some of the plastic clips too, part# 90683-GR1-003. I think you need 4, these are the clips that go on the spoiler to hold it in place

Well im not positive,i was just told this when i asked some local guys if ican put an 05 kit on. PM a price,including shipping to ohio and as long as its fair i can give you the money today.
