Default Is the 600rr the best for me?

hey guys wassup im reading this forum and its the best place to get the info i need ALL OTHER SITES SUCK! lol. Well heres my quest i had a 2000 yellow and black f4i and i loved the bike, im not an expert rider and i only rode for 4months then i sold it had money probs. But now that im back on my feet i want something like that bike but newer with better features dont know what to expect and this sat. im goin to buy the 2006 600rr. I must say also im a short guy 5ft 8 and i had to tippy toe on my f4i. I handled it pretty well just monted off on 1 foot @a stop but id like to take control of my bike @ all times what would u guys suggest. i did read that i SHOULD NOT lower the bike, but if i can is an inch ok or that too much. Also what else can i do to lower the bike is the suspension that easy to adjust or is there an aftermarket seat i can get to lower me. Well hopefully im not buggin u guys with garbage but u guys look helpful on the other posts i have seen. Thanks again.

welcome to the forum! the F4i and RR are pretty similar in terms of performance. now regarding comfort - the F4i takes it. but i like the way the RR looks (especially with the undertail exhaust) anyway before i ramble on too much you're definitely not considered "short". being 5'8 you should be fine with either bike. post some pics when you get the bike...

I would not lower it if at all possible, after all how often are your feet on the ground. And when they have to be, one foot is good enough. I am 6' and i can place both feet on the ground but my habits are to only use my clutch foot when I am at a stop.

Good choice on the RR, I just picked up mine on Monday. Don't worry about lowering it or anything. I'm 5'6" and I don't find any problems. I can get 2 tippy-toes (if I really want ), but I usually just go one foot and I'm fine. Have fun and ride safe.
