the gsxr is a lot more popular over here, but thats cause if the price and the amount available, these days there really isnt much between the top end sports bikes, i chose the cbr cause, well its always been my dream bike, ive had a good few hondas and they have never let me down, there are 2 or 3 main universal bike forums in Ireland and it was almost like "breaking news" when 1 of the lads on a cbr broke down cause they just dont do it, get a go on a gsxr and see how you like the gears, theyll be a bit smoother but its amazing how used to the clunk of a cbr you can get
Saying all that, I honestly dont think this is the best site to be asking the question as you will get a fairly biased answer
If it was me, it would be a cbr, when I get to old for a cbr (or when she who must be obeyed says so) ill change to something a bit more upright but will definitly stick with a honda

Thanks Chunky, Jutsin,I really like the way the cbr looks especially the front end and color schemes, but I'm also not crazy about the under the seatcenterline exhaust, to me that's just an odd place to putit, solooks isn't going to help me as far asmaking a decision goes. The shop opens Tuesday, sothat's where I'll be in the afternoon.
Just wanted to tell you about Craig's List, wow, I put up a classified on Craig's List last night at about 12:00 AM, and it was sold by 12:00PM even before that for 3000, I bought it for 2, so a 1k profit is actually really nice, I listed it for 3500 and the dude who bought it wanted to give me $3200 so of course I accepted, on my title he saw that I had purchased it for 2 and since he was nice guy he asked if I wanted to give him a discount so I said 3000 even is fine and that's that, craig's list is amazing is my point.

My friend all have GSXR's. They are nice for stunting and as you can see that is what Jason from the super bike show prefers. But I think thats just advertising. The yamaha r6 is also a nice bike and so is the ninja600. I bought my wife a ninja because that is her preference. My personal opinion is the cbr because I have seen them go longer without major repairs. My budy's on ninjas go an average of 30,000 miles and have engine repairs to deal with. I love my CBR900RR, its an old bike but it has more torque then the newer bikes and goes up on a wheelie easy with stock sprockets. I did put GSXR750 front forks and suspension because it is more adjustable for my year bike. Johnny
