RE: 600 gixxer vs 600rr
Suzuki bike are strong bikes but Hondas endure more and in my opinion hold their value. I was undecided as you are. My first sport bike was and still is a suzuki katana and I still have it and love it, but nothing compares to my cbr900rr. I took a chance and bought it all tore appart and put it together and I love the bike. My next bike will be a cbr1000rr and regardless what everybody says about the GSXR1000 I will still be faithfull to the CBR1000RR. Johnny

You can find an article for what ever bike you like that will say it's the best... go with your own opinion. The "best" is not that big of a margin. One bike will beat the rest around the track by 0.8 seconds. Is that enough for the average rider to worry about and when will you have it on a track?

RE: 600 gixxer vs 600rr
I guess my definition of better would be, less maintenace, less costly maintenance, less quirky problems that seem to pop up on certain bikes, that sort of thing. I plan on keeping whatever I get for a long time, at least 6 years. My first bike is the one in my sig, I've owned for two months and have ridden it for less than a month, but since I stand to make large profit on selling it I've decided it would be in my interest to sell. I've heard nothing but good things about both Honda CBRs and Suzuki Gixxers, so since I'm going to put down a large amount of cash so I need to know what people think. This is beyond a loyalty thing, I truly need the statistically "better" bike, and when it comes down to bikez.com, the rating system comes frompeoples opinions so it's not real valid for a purchase decision. In my own opinion one thing I like "better" about CBRs is their front end and color choices and lights, one thing I like more about gixxers is the pipe is on the side instead of centerline. Thanks again for your inputs.
