Hey fox--all i could find listed were 194-style...is that what you meant, or can i just not find them??
Sorry, that's what I meant (damn numbers). 194-style LED lights is what you need, not 197.

out of curiousity, why would other colors besides white potentially be trouble with the law?
Anything other than amber or white as a forward facing light is illegal (in all states). Red/Blue is reserved for law enforcement. Green is used sometimes with the park/forest services. Other colors causes distractions and are not DOT approved, therefore illegal. Now, how strictly it's enforced is up to your local law enforcement. Around here, people have all sorts of forward facing colors, which leads me to believe that the police have better things to do than pull people over for having green/blue/red, etc forward facing LED's. But in other places, they enforce it.

it's not like that third eye serves any purpose....
Actually, it does. When you have your lowbeam on and your highbeam off, you cannot physically see that the lowbeam is on when looking directly at the side of the bike. But you CAN see the middle light (which actually serves as a sidemarker) I didn't notice this until I saw Captain Slow's bike from the side one night and noticed it.

umm mine has 3 Led's already, and as far as I know it's stock.
The 03-06 models used a 194 bulb for the middle light. The 07/08 models use "warm" white LED's........and I believe there's 5 of them in there.

So for my 2004 RR I need to get the three strip 194 bulb? And it will just plug right in?

Blue Fox, if you have some time, can you supply the link for the bulbs your talking about? I spent some time on that site and it may as well be in Japanese...

oh wait, think I found it...these "wedge" style bulbs?

The top bulb says do not use for headlamps, but the second one down will work?

I went to pepboys today and I was looking at the lights and they had a single LED light that was 194 and it looked like it was white so I got a 2 pack for like $10.00. After I installed it it was a little more bluer than my HID kit. The picture didnt turn out as bright as it really is for some reason and my bike looks real dark but its the pearl yellow. But anyways it looks a hella lot better than the stock one.

Not for use "IN" headlights (meaning in the same housing as the bulb). Your middle light is separate from the headlamps. The LED lights I buy is third up from the bottom on page 1. If anyone has an HID kit, the "cool white" ones will match them perfectly.

Yeah i like what I see on that site, except I still have to pay off $1000 or so on my bike so I just took the pepboys $10 option instead for now...

Thanks, Fox...I'll give it a try. Since my bike is blue, I'm gonna go with the blue LED and see how that works.
