Default RE: 2007 Honda CBR 600 RR

ORIGINAL: Blue Fox

Being that I rode Dunlop Qualifier's on my 06 600RR, my 07 600RR and used them on the Kawasaki ZX-6R Track Bikes when attending the Superbike School at Laguna Seca..........I'm declaring that the Dunlop Qualifier is the best tire for the money (being you can pick up a set for roughly $220.....given you are looking on the right sites at the right times)

A lot of people seem to not like them, but I have no idea why. When I rode the Kawasaki bikes at the Laguna Seca school, I was amazed with the grip and responsiveness of the tires. To my amazement.....when I looked at what tires were on the bikes when I pulled back into the paddock........they were just regular, off-the-shelf Dunlop Qualifier's. I was absolutely floored.

I did the superbike school (level 1)out here at Mid Ohio last year, and I noticed their bikeswere using the Qualifiers. they are a good tire. but, to be fair, I ran my bike with Pirelli Diablo's and didnthave any problems at all.The regular Diablo's were also very cheap, around $225 for a pair.

Everyone loves the qualifiers, and the Diablos(which have been replaced by the Rosso's for slight more $) until they really start pushing the pace. While I would still ride the Rosso's (or qualifiers) for a daily driver with no problems, I would not dream of taking those tires to the track now.
