I heard that on the 2007 rr's and up, that Honda raised the handle bars for comfort. Can anyone confirm this as true?

Thanks

They are less comfortable then the 05-06. Never tried an 03-04. F4i's are even better. The newer bikes get, the better track bikes they are, which makes them worse on the street.

Got to disagree with you on this. I had a 01 F4i and currently own a 07 600RR and the riding positions are different but I do not find the RR any more uncomfortable than my F4i. I have never rode a 03-06 RR so can't comment on that.

Well, you did have a split seat where as I have a banana, so Im sure that plays a part in it.

I had an 04 F4i and now an 07 600RR. As boredandstroked said, the F4i is noticeably more comfortable, but the 07 RR isn't bad at all. My buddy had an 06RR and the bars were a little (0.7" if I remember correctly). I sat on his bike and it was noticeable then, but never rode it so I can't comment on comfort. He sat on mine and thought it was more comfortable though.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up purchasing a 2009 cbr phoenix edition yesterday and very happy with the comfort. Rode it 200 miles home and it was not that bad.
