2007 600rr or 1000rr
I use to have a 2005 cbr 600rr. I made a big mistake and sold it for a crf 450 motorcross bike and i am looking to trade it in on a 1000rr. I have been riding bikes for awhile 8 years or so and i was wondering just how powerful the 1000rr really is. I never really had a problem with the power of the 600rr. I rode it without a problem and i wish at times it had more power. I am worried since the 1000rr is a bit bigger and little heavier how is its handling and how much of a difference in power do you think the bike will be for me?

you have to ask yourself why are you buying a bike... if your answer is because I want to carve up the corners and do tracks, then get another 600.. if you just want to go like a bat out of hell and are not too particular about the handling then get the 1000. If that doesn't work GO TEST RIDE ONE!

I agree mate, just go and test ride one and many. Thats what thier there for. I was determined to test ride as many new bikes as possible, makes and models! I am totally stoked with my 600rr and glad i shopped around . It was the last one I rode. Just get down there , talk it up, tell em you've got cash and ur away. Also nothing beats flogging the crap out of somone elses bike - ay!!!

First off, why in the hell would you tell this guy to wait for the '07 600RR? The thing looks like ****, yeah, it might run good, but it looks like **** and Honda's losing their touch, so...yes, the 600 is better for carving up the twisties, etc., and yes, the 1000 runs like a bat out of hell, better in a straight line...like everyone says, it's all about personal preference. I have an '05 600RR and absolutely love it to death, but, I'm also looking to turn it into a track bike and get a 1000RR just to dick around on, going 170+ down the highway is such an adrenaline rush.

the 1000RR can break the rear tire loose around a corner at will... it doesn't take much input at all to do it either.
05RR, even though the 07 doesn't win any awards for best looking fairings, you shouldn't totally discount it as being a solid bike otherwise. It's still a honda. It has Honda powerplant, Honda Gearbox, Honda chassis, and Honda reliability. what's the old saying? Never judge a book by it's cover?
170+ on the highway huh? don't forget to scream on the way down...
