2006 CBR 600RR Problems?
Hey guys/gals,
I'm thinking about picking up a '06 600RR. I had it narrowed down to Honda or Suzuki. I know, I know what site I'm on. I'm sure I'll get flamed for even thinking about the gixxer. The gixxer has too many problems for the '06.
For the 2006 CBR RR owners, are you experiencing any problems that you would like to share? Any fluid leaks, sticking throttle, electrical issues, etc. Yes, I have checked the forum for previous posts and came up empty. Thanks in advance for all your replies.

Slight buzz around 5000-6500rpm, but that is it for me so far. 2130miles and I just bought it mid-June. The bike is amazing in every way! Honda has a reputation in bikes, cars, marine, and generators for being indestructable. I think it is the way to go.[sm=happy046.gif]

I fixed the buzz sound on mine... there are two tabs that look like they meant to put rubber stops in to support the tank cover. I bent the tabs down a little and the buzz went away. I could see where the tabs were rubbing the inside of the tank cover. That is the only wtf I've found on my 05 and I have 13000 miles and still loving it.

Huh, A slight buzz? Gixxer 600 has o ring problems, sticking throttle, oil leak, FI issues, shifting from 1st to 2nd,and the list goes on. I think I found me a bike. Thanks guys. The only thing is that my feet touch the ground more on the gixxer. I'm 5'7". I will be wearing boots that cover my ankles that will give me a little height boost so the 600 RR won't be so bad.
