Default 2005 600RR value

Alrighty, a friend is selling a 2005 CBR 600RR silver bike... damage is as follows:
-Cracked headlight lense
-Cracked nose fairing
-Scuffed right mid fairing
-Scuffed tank fairing
-Scuffed tail fairing
-Scuffed lower fairings
-Cracked dash panel fairing on right side (covers the air ductwork)
-Scuffed engine cover (right side... stator cover)

Maybe some other damage here and there

6,030 miles and I know it hasn't been the most taken care of bike...

Anyone have an approx value for this? Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou!

Well, your talkin at least a $1200.00 off retail for bodywork, plus overly wore and tore. I would GUESS around $4,000.00 give or take.

God damn, lol...that bike is f**ked up man. At the dealership I go to, they'd consider that bike totaled. If you get actual, geniune Honda parts to fix er' up, you're talking way more than $1,200! Trust me. I have an '05, all black, with many mods...anyways, this past Summer (2006),some f**king ***** piece of **** low life scum motherf**ker kicked my bike over. Yes, kicked it over. I had to run into Wal-Mart, and by the entrances, the motorcyclist around here claim that area(s) for parking. Anyways, some *** walked up to it, sat on it, got off and SMACK, kicked my baby and knocked her right over. Lucky for me, I had frame sliders and that made a world of difference. But, the damage was: left fairing (where that clutch lever just "dented" it), clutch lever, left handle bar, left mirror, tail section, the grips had to be replaced, the left peg from my Vortex rear-sets had to be replaced, and just a few small "push-pin" connectors, etc. With just the fairing, clutch lever, handle bar, mirror, and tail section (all Honda Geniune Parts) alone, w/tax was like $1,200+, so...with the engine cover, tank fairing, etc., yeah, it'd cost you more to fix that bike up than it would be to just look around and find another one. If you decide to fix it up, who's to say that when is all said and done that when you get it up and running that there won't be anymore damage (internally)? Do as you wish man, I'd just like to see you spend your money something worth-while and get a nice bike. Good luck man and keep the forum UTD on your decision(s)!

Well to give you an Idea.
I bought a "salvaged title" 2003 RR in January of 2005, in slightly better condition than what you described, except it only had 3800 miles, for $3500.
So I'd say a realistic value would be between $3000 - $3500.

And if he really wants to get rid of it, adrivitise it on the Racing & Trackday forums such as CCS, WERA, NESBA, and others as it would be a perfect canidate for a race / track day bike build-up.

I already own a bike... 2005 tribal edition. I know about what the parts will cost OEM and whatnot. A fortune is all that really matters. I guess where I am going is where would the bike stand as being worth. I am good with plastic work and most mechanical skills and the skills I do not have, my brother and father have. I have ridden this bike and it runs fine and rides fine... the damage is chiefly cosmetic. None the less, it is a lot of cosmetics. If that helps. Thanks again for the responses as of yet.
