I've searched my pants off and get the same results..... engine codes....Ive searched history of the CBR and it doesn't mention it anywhere.

What I wan't to know is what is the 2004 rr chassis code? 2004 gsxr's are K4 generation for example. My 1998 Honda Prelude is chassis code BB6. I know I read it on a thread here before but I can't find it for the life of me. Does anyone know?

 

Ok I feel like a douche... I've been reading and all k4 stands for is 2004. lol

I could have just looked at my VIN the entire time.

 

On US Honda MC VIN's, the 4th through 8th digit is the model, the 10th digit is the year.

PC370, PC371, and PC372 are CBR600RR model, PC371 is California.

Only other code within the VIN is assembly plant. (JH2 at the start means Japan-Honda-Motorcycle)

 

PC means 600rr
SC means 1000rr

 

exactly the info I was looking for! thanks guys... I thought about it as well because My preludes chassis code is in the VIN and I thought has to be close to the same setup.
