even 107.2 seems rather high, but i'm not one to argue. i've scene magazine's rate it in the 103-104 range. With a few mods the bike makes 110, which in my opinion is a good number for an 03

Yeah that seems high, buddy claims his 03' 636 dynoed at 105hp (150 w/nitrous). so, 03' rr is 2 most powerful 600 for that year, only to the 636 by .3 hp? IDK.

Seems like that dyno sheet by sportrider would be accurate tho...

Depending which dyno you use, the 2003 CBR600RR is rated anywhere between 100 and 105 RWHP at the top. it's been said a billion times... the 05-06 are the same bikes and are rated at about a 0-5hp gain again depending on which dyno you use.

107hp stock is very high. I actually had mine dynoed here the same day there were some other RR's there as well.. Mine 03 ran 100.2 stock and 105.7 after GPR exhaust installed. There were 2 06's there as well and both ran 101.x stock. Im hoping to be up over 110 after I get my custom map done.

Oh, and first post.. w00t!!

The 2003-2004 CBR 600RR model is unchanged from what I gather. My 2004 when it was dynoed with a two bros slip on, BMR race filter and custom powercommander map, gave me 99 REAR wheel horsepower and 41TQ. So about 107 overall horse is about right. You would think with my mods, it would put out a lot more on the top end right!?. Nope its not always about your top end. If you look at the dyno curve when it is stock and when modified, you will notice that the curve is beefier, powerful in the middle. So for example a stock bike is pushing say 60 HP at about 8500rpms, my bike slightly modified is pushing say 66HP at the same rpm. Or if say the stock bike is pushing 70HP at say 10,000rpms, mine is pushing 77HP. So its not about going fast at the top end, its about HOW you go fast, how quickly you get to that top speed. Its a simple concept really. I never knew that before, I always thought that top speed rules, but really its the accelaration, what it is that takes you there, that makes the big difference. But yeah it would have been nice to get a higher top end as well as a beefed up curve, but it just didn't happen in my case. I think too that elevation makes a big difference on dyno results from what I was told before, so keep that in mind.
