I need some help figuring out if this is a 2003 CBR 600RR. It looks to have been all blacked out with a couple of minor mods. The decals seem to be like the 2004 model but darker. The plates seem to be from Virgina, however, the bike is now in the UK. I'd like to bring it back to the US but I'm not sure how difficult it will be to register it here in CA. Does this bike look familiar to anybody? If anybody has any insite it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

 

In the state of CA if a motorcycle is not a CA model ( there is a designation in the VIN number) It cannot be registered until it either has; 7500 miles, or is 7 years old.
You should be able to call American Honda and they can give you the info..

I think that is an 04 due the fact is that I have an 04 in my back yard right now and he is right about the being a CA bike.
