1/4 mile
ran for the first time tue. okay first run ever and only one run..............12.43 at 120.19. completly stock. What does every one else get. real times to!!!!! I will be going back next week will update then!
All right dude -- excellent numbers for a first run. What was your 60' and 1/8 times? The only track near me is a dinky 1/8 mile one in Dallas -- and that's not really near me.
11.2 is my fastest time STOCK... was 11.4 but yes, shaved it a lil..
With my mods, pulled an 11.0 @ 128mph... and a 1.67 60ft. From what i recall, I cant dig through all of my timeslips cause theres alot of car ones too lol...
but thats pretty darn close to true numbers... i know the times are right though, close on the 60 fts. I know that for sure.

Practice, practice, practice .... I went to the 1/8mile track and had a crappy day trying to hook up. Thanks for posting your time slip -- makes me feel better about my 60' times
I spun and slid and just had a good ole time. My thing is that I just went for fun -- not gonna change my setup in the tiniest bit just to run 1/8 or 1/4 mile. It's fun but to me twisties are funnerer[8D] And your reaction time is good so I know you're lookin at the tree.

Leaning forward will help keep the front wheel down and start your tuck position earlier, just lift both feet smoothly and to the peg for your first-second shift. Don't try to redline or you will slap the limiter. Its better to shift a lil earlier than too late. Also, stretch out and take a deep breath before lining up, just chill out and you do better. I used that against a new R1 and we were even until 3rd
We have a 2005 BONE STOCK. Lowered 3" and it went a 10.80 at 127mph last Friday at San Antonio Raceway. 1840 60 foot which is still bad. Going to the Texas Shootout this weekend and should get the 60 foot down to a 1600/1650 and it should put it at about a 10.40/10.50 at 128/129 mph. Not bad for a Honda. Them Kawa guys hate it.
