09 idles rough in 1st - yoshi?
I had Yoshi slip on for a while. The mileage is about 3600, but I already had the 4K maintenance done. After that, my bike sounded better for some reason. But now I noticed that when I come to stop and leave it in 1st gear, it runs sort of rough, not to the point bike is going to die out. But just not smooth. If I put it in neutral, it will go back to smooth idle in 5 sec or so. Is something wrong with my bike? or Is this normal? I end up revving the bike at stop because I don't like the way it is idling.
That's how mine was, and it started to sound like the second one in 1st just waiting for light to change, not on the hill. I put it in N, then it will change to vummmmmm in few second or so
hmm, not too sure. but according to the service manual for 03-04 honda cbr 600rr (mine), it says to look at the followig when "poor performance at low and idle speed":
1) spark plug inspect
2) ignition timing inspectio
3) fuel pump inspect
4) programmed fuel injection system inspect
5) starter valve syncronization inspect
6) intake pipes leaking inspect
i know the 2009 serv manuals been posted, maybe you could check that one out under "troubleshooting"

Yea that would be cool. Your bike is a lot like mine anyways. I will try to video mine as well. I'm waiting for the battery people to cal me back and see if it's anything to di with my battery.
Ive had some random days where my bike would idle differently. Im not sure what cause it. I blamed the temp outside though. It seems it would only idle rough on random cold days. it would be 35 outside for a week and it would idle odd once but it would be all day. the next day it would be fine. Sorry i cant be of more help.
I tried to take video, but when I got to work, it stop doing. When I first turn on the bike, it is smooth, and I'm in the traffic, stop and go somewhat, in friction zone, then when I have to stop at the red light, it idle rough. I said in 1st, but it does it in neutral too. But in neutral, it will go back to smooth eventually. It was not like in few sec though this morning. Then almost to my work, it is doing it consistant, so I was going to video tape once I got to the parking. But it stop doing it. Nate where is your video?
