09 fairings on 07/08, will they work?

09 fairings on 07/08, will they work?
I plan on buying a 07/08 CBR600rr within the next couple weeks. I do have one question... Will the lower side fairings from a 09 fit the 07/08 CBR600rr? I am referring to the piece that covers the engine. On the 07/08 model the engine is not covered and very exposed. I would prefer the fairings off the 09 version. I am switching from a 2000 GSXR600 with large side fairings. I like this look better. The newer bikes come with less of a fairing, I guess for weight reasons. Thanks in advance!

I believe the reason why they have that piece covering the engine on 09's is because of the C-ABS unit they have now. Anyhow I am not sure if that will fit on the 07/08. My friend has the 07 and my other friend is planning on gettin an 09 If i get a chance to compare them up close I'll let you know.

after a few min. of research i beleive that yes it will work...
worse case youde have to fab something up to mount the lowers, but thats it...
juggle between these two
