Have had the bike for a week or so. I've been doing some manual reading and it appears I should have some type of tool kit under the rear seat. I did have the helmet strap lock thing but no tools at all. Can anyone tell me what they got for a tool kit in thier 07?

 

wel you get 1 tool. just an old allen wrench

 

I GOT AN 06 RR AND I NEVER GOT ONE WITH MINE EITHER.....THE GUY AT THE HONDA DEALER SAID THEY STOPPED DOING THE TOOLKITS IN 05 AND THEY ONLY COME WITH THE HELMET STRAP AND 1 ALLEN KEY........NOT SO SURE ON HOW TRUE THAT IS BUT ITS WHAT I WAS LED TO BELIEVE.

 

GUESS WHAT HIPPIES?! Honda decieded in the INFINITE WISDOM to no longer ship full tool kits with the CBR600RR from 2005 onward. all you get it a helmet strap and an Hex wrench.

That's funny. I got 5 wrenches, 4 hammers, a couple of screwdrivers and a chain saw to hack off that ugly *** fender. Just kidding, got the same as you..

that's not really where the tool kit goes... look under the right side mid farining.

 

I think they were ploting this one for a while now, my friend has an 02 F4i and he got more tools then i got on my 05 600 rr.

 

It goes by the dealer. You should mention that you want a tool kit with the bike. I think the dealer is not obligated to give you a kit but you can request for it BEFORE you purchase the bike. Some dealer might even charge you for it as an accessory.
However, some dealerships follow different policies. I dont know what is Honda Corp take on this is.

 

I called my dealer before posting and told him the mentioned tool kit in the book was MIA. He said he would get me one and give it to me when i return for my first service...

I went with the Metallic Blue and Silver, BTW...
