Default 07' integrated brake light fitment question

hey guys,

likely picking up a 07' 600rr tail shortly for an f3 build.

so as standard the brake like is mounted on the mudguard/fender however i have no intention of running that set up. I've seen couple with it mounted into the tail, apparently someone used to sell modified 03-06rr lights for the 07/08. so I'm looking into buying either a modified unit or a 03-06 one and making it work.

i'll manage myself to make it work no bother but I'm just doing a spot of research and forethought, anyone got some experience with these or another solution?

this is the source where I've gathered its plausible - Problem with fitment - Triage Integrated Light on an 08 600rr - 600RR.net

thanks,
b.

totally answered my own question with the source... haha ah well. there is a couple of videos showing the fit and saying that the top is shaved down / under tray cut for anyone interested.

Yeah, I found out the hard way on my bandit. I had originally tried using an 07 tail, but the integrated light cost an arm and a leg.

I tried modifying the tail/tray and never really got it to work, so I gave up on it...
