Default 07 cbr600rr vs 07 r6

well i just got home from a good ride with a couple friends...and a friend of mine got the 07 r6 and i thought i'd share with you all.....we were coming through some turns in the mountain and my friend on the r6 was right behind me the whole time but everytime he would try to pass me i would just drop it down a gear and he couldn't keep up in the turns...as far as straight a way he could catch up but that r6 is all TOPEND power...no low or mid range whatsoever.....basically no power to come outta turns with...unlike us cbr600rr that got the new low through topend power...its great when you just redline second and lose the r6

well the reviews state the r6 has like a tad more horsepower...but the 07 cbr has alot better powerband.

I don't know about the later R6 models.. But I went out ridin with bout 10 of my buddies last night, right outside the county line... Bikes included several 600's, One 750 GSXR, and Two R1's .... It was my first "trip" on my new bike... Having an R6 before hand (2003) I can say that this thing has plenty more "poop in the scoop"... The other 600's (up to 120) were no comparison... I actually did a better job keeping up with the 750 GSXR than they did of keeping up with me...

you should go with your friend on a track, not on the road where is risky and dangerous..

for sure cause people are dying left and right cause of old grannies or people talking on the phone.
