07 600RRS = More Crashes?
I remembered there being a thread about this but was unable to find it. I went to the Honda Powersports today to turn in my 06 600rr for its 8000mile service. Talked with one the salesmen and the subject of the 07 600s came up. He said that he's lost count of how many have been brought in with major crash damage due to wheelies and people getting greedy with the throttle. He mentioned that its so light that the front can be powered up which is crazy because I sure as hell can't seem to do that on my bike. I sat on one of the 07s in the showroom and it blew me away with how light it is and how, unlike on the 06, I sit inside of it. Does anyone have anything to offer experience-wise on the 07s? Are they as powerful as the salesman was saying? I wasnt sure if he was stating fact...or trying to get me to upgrade :P

Stock:
The '07 600s ..can be "powered" up in 2nd .. i haven't tried in 3rd and won't ..lol. As for just hitting the throttle and going to WOT in 1st, occasionally the front will pull 6 inches give or take off the ground. Power shifting from 1stto 2nd the front will pop up about a foot or so. Nothing happens under WOT in 2nd gear.
Modified:
I went +2 on my rear sprocket and jardine slip-on on mine the other day and it will stand up under WOT in 1st. Scary! Haven't tested out 2nd yet.

i dont think its the bike, i think its the idiots on the bikes.
first off, my outdated f4i can power wheelie; so I imagine that a brand new rr can easily take off.
keep in mind that 600cc class is mosltly filled with new/beginning riders and these riders always press their luck.
