I hope to put a deposit down this weekend on a bike this weekend.

the deposit was orginally for a 07 White 600rr, the dealership does not have one but will aquire one for me. I got them to get the bike and sell it to be for 8,599. Not including tax, tags and title.

Just got a call today that they have the 08's in and have a graffiti black bike in. Price for me is $9199.

I have a feeling that every one and their grandmother that is a squid will end up attempting to buy the graffiti black bike, what do you think? I am not even sure if i see the new graffiti in person I'll justify the extra 600 bucks in price if the can find me a 07 pearl white.

 

I vote for the white & silver. I actually have the white & silver joe rocket CBR jacket. I must
admit I look kinda like a pimp with that jacket on my red & black bike. That graffiti looks like a bike
that has been crashed & revived with a bad paint job.

 

I've personally have seen the both bikes in person now. My dealership in Southwestern VA just got all the '08s in. If I had to choose to redo my plastic it would be either the '08 Silver or the '07 or '08 Red.

The Graffiti Black has to grow on me. I don't like the fact that it is a flat base color. I would stick with the '07 White if thats what appealed to you at first. Definately a rare sexy machine

 

i'm totally down for the graffiti bike - with all that **** removed; stealth looking. if that's not what you have planned, i'm all about that white '07 (even though i like the black better). have you seen the silver '08? the silver is THE BEST COLOR PERIOD, imo.

 

Don't settle. Get what you want. I saw the Graffiti bike in person, and it is ok, but the lettering on the lowers just looks ghetto.

White 07. Biased? No, I do think it looks better. You don't see many white bikes, it's something different. But in the end it's your choice.

 

I think you should go with what YOU like. The 07 pearl white was the most popular color last year and i'm sure a lot of squids went that route but squid to me is more of a riding style than a bike color.

Either way enjoy your new bike.

 

the more i see the graffatti the less of a fan i am. the white does look much better imo. HOWEVER, i'd wait for the 08 and find a color that you like... because imo it's always better to get a newer model. ie, when/if you ever sell it you'll get more for it being an 08 rather than an 07. so i'd wait a couple/few weeks for the next years model... and you'll prob be the first one around to have it.
