06 preview
If you're looking for the 06 line-up, here's a bit of news you might like to read. I'm copying and pasting it directly from Honda's website.... On Wednesday, Sept. 7th from 9:00pm to 12:00am (Pacific Time), you and other HRCA Members have an exclusive 3-hour preview to view the new 2006 Honda products webcast on the HRCA Clubhouse website. After 12:00am, information and pictures will become available to the general public on the Honda Powersports website, but the webcast will remain an exclusive privilege of HRCA Clubhouse Members only.
You have to be a member of HRCA, which everyone that bought a new Honda in the last year got a free year membership. If they do release the pictures and any write ups.... I'll see what I can do about posting them around here for those that do not have a membership.
You da man collins, you da man :P thanks for any looks we get, and the info that was posted up. Im very interested in how Honda is going to try and step up with the looks of the R6. I realllly like the looks of the R6, but I think Im bound to be loyal to hondas... just nothin like em...

Waiting for the 2006 600RR has been killing me. I will be deeply disappointed if the bike turns out ugly. I'm hopeful that they will bring back some sort of blue color. I just saw a 17 year old rich kid visit my rich neighbors kid across the street. He had a brand new red 600RR. I wasn't jellous becuase he had the red bike. However, the black or tribal would have burned me up. At least he had a terrible helmet. I sound like a little kid waiting for christmas.
This new young generation of kids get all of the best stuff. Instant gratification is something I learned to live without. Needless to say, January or February 2006 is when I plan to buy the new 600RR. The bike will be garaged always and hopefully will never see to many raindrops. I don't think I will ever sell the bike. As Thundarr the Barbarian used to say, "let's ride" of course he was on a horse!

Avoid rain? They're sport bikes not trophies. I love my black/tribal as much as anyone here, but I ride in all weather. We had a tropical storm hit us by surprise while I was out riding.... I was going through water at about mid tire area. Had no choice, I was stuck in traffic and had to keep moving. Sport bikes handle great on wet roads.
If you use the link from my last posting, make sure you are logged into the HRCA site first. That way it will take you stright to the page with the info. If you are a member, log on and sign up. You have to be registered to view the web cast.
