05 600rr seats/tailsection ?

Default 05 600rr seats/tailsection ?
I bought an 05 tail section to mount to my naked F3. what year seats will fit this tailsection? does it HAVE to be 05/06?

03-04 will fit, but it'll stick out at the rear (I'm converting my 04 to 05-06)

I'm just going to trim the seat and pad and pull the cover down tight and restaple it.
