Default 03 600rr VS: 04 600rr

Hey guys I just bought my 04 rr stock and my buddy has a red 03 rr stock what is the differents in the two bike? Speed? and engine? weight? IF we were to go at it light to light, are we the same speed?

My understanding is that 03 was unchanged in 04, then a big change for 05 but 05-06 are identical again, but could be wrong.
As the post above says, the better rider wins everytime.

Be safe, and get the better of your buddy where you can !

Between an 03 & 04... Not a damn thing, except maybe the paint schemes... Same between the 05 & 06, but there are a million little (and a few not so little) things different between the 03/04 & 05/06.

Going light to light..... who ever get started the best wins....

the difference between the 03 and the 04 is a slightly better R/R Bridge on the 04.

either way, i STILL suggest replacing them anyway with an updated 2006 R/R bridge.
