I was going to buy a new 06 600RR but decided against it because of the price and the fact that this will be my first sportbike. I know in 05 they switched to the 1000RR swingarm and inverted front forks. How much better is this setup over the one the 03-04's have? If you were going to be getting a used bike, which one would you choose? Right now I'm leaning towards a used 05 because of what they have changed.

 

Go '05, lighter and better handling among other things.
