In my financial stupa, I believe I accidentally found a way to bypass the Xena diode issue. And it is worked solidly ever since. If you put two of the 3.75 volt batteries the Vape batteries, you have to wire them together in parallel hook up the positive end to the battery and run the negative to the pink wire. I'm not electrical engineering genius,, not that I know of but it is worked since I put it on there. Instead of having no wait for the new ignition, or even find Xena diode wire and with the wire, all you had to do is take off the back fairing. Encloses a picture like I said it's worked ever since. Hope this helps you all guys cuz I know it's sure in the hell save me..... Actually wrks
Hey y'all can go eat a bag of washers for real, I live out in the country and we deal with what we got when we got. Ain't got no diode Market anywhere close besides the internet takes 3 days, Yeah we actually use the internet out here. **** off trollies ( I learn that word on the internet too)
You live in Kansas - that's hardly "the country" - you still get Amazon Prime :-)
plus you claim " a bachelor's degree in common sense.....lol......anywhoooo" which I guess you got a 3rd class honors because no one with common sense would hotwire a couple of Chinese lithium firestarters under their behind...
Problem here is you connected +14.5v of charging system to +3.75v of batteries. You are basically charging at 4x their max voltage. What's going to happen?
this circuit is essentially a resistance circuit made with capacitors. the battery and charging system are trying their best to keep those 3.7v batteries charged to 12v. I get it, I wouldn't want to have to wait 3 days for a diode to arrive so I can ride again, but this is just a darwin award waiting to happen. you cant say you live in the sticks and cant buy one. I don't know a single store that sells diodes on the shelf, but you clearly have the internet and an address. this is a perfect example of works, but still stupid.
