Thanks for the info dude. Sorry I am such a newb to CBRs. I been shopping for a new bike for this summer and came across a 2000 f4 yesterday with a rebuilt title and 18k miles nthe guy was asking $2k. It was all rebuilt and lookin' clean though. I went to meet up with him to see it, and he dumped it on some ice goin pretty slow. He was freaking out... but the bike had frame sliders so it just put a scratch in the upper fairing and put a tiny crack in the crank case.

He ended up selling the bike to me for $1000 and giving me an extra crank case cover her had for it... I'm really excited but I'm trying to learn more about CBRs, I never had one before.

 

np/ Just about everything thats not EFI related will work between a F4 and a F4i as they are about the same except the fuel injection and a few cosmetics (upper fairing n headlight, 01-03 tail fairing)

 

sweet. my bike already has the newer style dual headlights on it . when it was rebuilt it was somebody's project bike.
