Thanks yea I'm tender from the drop n roll luckly my wife was behind me in my car whitch I just got out of the body shop cause I got rear ended last month in it. And 4 people stopped and assured the old couple they pulled across 4 lanes directly in front of me so that was good. Bikes all cosmetic frame slider helped a lot it started right up and rode back home with no problems. Traffics gettin outa hand around here so I may just sell it as it sits or fix it then sell and take a break for a bit not sure

RE: Your indecision on bike-status... Take a little time for the dust to settle & think it over. Thoughts have a way of clearing after a little thought time. Even if I could only ride my bike(s) once a month, I'd still keep 'em.

If you didn't get a police report, you can still get one w/ witnesses. You may not need it w/ insurance tho. I'd be sure to have their insurance pay for you bike (& injuries/pain & suffering).

Anyway, most importantly, you are ok. Heal up quickly.

 

Yea im gonna think it over for a bit i was still considerin it befor hand cause it like playin grand theft auto ridin around here lately. Cop came bit did nothing but tell us to swap info got 1 of the witnesses phone # deff gonna collect off his insurance.

 

Even if we garb'd up like Dynamo from The Running Man, they still wouldn't see us. ;-)

Excellent that you got witness info. It could mean the dif w/ recovering ins funds.

 

Lol yea I've noticed this bike stands out wat better than the black one I had befor. I assumed they seen me cause they were makin a uturn but just shot accross 4 lanes in front of me I tried cuttin left but was on the brake to so front slid out but ill take that over hittin the back of a pick up

 

But I will say this fall was worse then the 1 I had in 09 when I was in my squid stage but far less injury and rash with jacket jeans and boots I proceeded to go out to dinner after I got bike home + changed

 

Yep, a get-off is much better than running into anything. Good gear works wonders.

Speaking of squids & lack of gear... Yesterday at my favorite twisty spot (not recommended for squids or newbs), saw a super-squid riding his new bike (gixxer no less) in cargo sorts, vans (not socks), & a T-shirt. Yep, a super-squid alright!
