this happened to me 2 years ago on my first bike, a 96 gsxr 1100
i know EXACTLY how you felt
ouch...! glad you are fine! and as for the bike, i would buy it back from the insurance if they total it out. then part it out and buy a new one. my buddy just totaled his harley last tuesday, and he bought it back from the insurance for $700, then sold it on craigslist as a parts bike. he sold it in 2 days and made triple off it.

and yea im good thanks insurance have offered me £3500 for injurys and not decided what to do with the bike yet ( been almost 4 weeks) i found this

Any chance on buying your CBR from the insurance co & fixing it?
When a car pull out in front of you, driver's majority intent is a left turn....either pull out of a driveway, oncoming left, U-turn that is originated with a left...

yea im good thanks people no broken bones just a bit sore :/ more pissed off about the bike
shows that full leathers are worth it and if it wasn't for my boots i would have snapped my leg when i hit the top of the car:/

yea im hoping not as far as i can tell forks are ****ed, rad has been caved in by the front wheel and obv the farings the sliders saved the sides but will need a new front end :/
ill see what happens with the insurance and decide weather to get a new one or just fix it up in which case il probably put the f4i front end on it but il let you guys know

oo and yea i might buy it back and part it out what how much do you reacon its worth for parts? OBV no light, forks, Rad or top fairings/ mudguard but everything else survied no scratches

xD thanks but im torn between the gixxer or a daytoner which is cheaper and a few more miles but i could pay off the first years insurance almost straight away :/

I would say that it would most likely be worth doing in the states. However, in the UK, I'm not sure what the market would be. If I were you tho, I would def consider the proposition.
