hey guys...just bought my F4 and this is how she looks right now...the price was right and was all mechanically n physically sound....i'm not a fan of the particular paint scheme...but its getting prepped and ready for a new paint job and some other new goodies...some pics beside my buddies r6 which was also recently bought...both r gonna go through some major changes...hope to learn lots from you guys...cheers

Sorry guys on the long wait - I had the repaint done 2 days ago and just took pics of the fairings last nite and they have yet to be put on...i'm still awaiting oem black decals and then going over with two more coats of clear coat to give it the extra shine...the color i went with is pearl white...to be exact is the pearl white seen on the Lexus IS350....here's what the bike look like before with the copper orange:

and here are the fairings and bike naked...the lighting and the camera do NOT give the actual paint justice....the blue is my friends freshly painted r6 fairings

thanks....any suggestions for a new paint color and overall scheme? (i have access to free professional paint job so any color and finish is not a problem) i wanted to do a pearl white with red OEM Decals and carbon fiber accents...what do u guys think?

 

I thought about painting my bike white, but wasn't sure how it would look with the silver frame. The f4i's have a black frame which I think would go better with a light color. With that said, white does look nice though!

 

I'd go with a gunmetal finish and red accents. Or take some cues from the Raven edition R1/R6, my favorite factory scheme hands down from any bike company.

If you could get the frame/snwingarm done, go black and do white plastics.

 

I just got my firstF4 its a 99 and it was a wreck I got most new plastic I polished the outer most of the stator cover and the main frame Im starting on the swing arm and the subframe and the peg brackets I got some free paint rasberry camilion and Im thinking about just doing a white HONDA at the bottom and doing all accesories in chrome. what do you guys think? as far as the starter of this thread exept for the aces I love the paint....

 

An all white F4 would look sweet!

 

I just got the paint today and it is actualy Blasberry not rasberry its kinda purple Im not sure about a puple F4 speacialy with me on it might send out wrong signals, might paint it black (which i have to any ways to make the chemilion work)and just do chemilion flames?

I have already ordered some brand new goodies....speedohealer, micron high mount to replace the scuffed up D&D CF that's already on there, tinted windscreen...we'll see how this bit turns out...and any suggestions along the way..plz feel free to let me know!
