I too would like to know. I actually rode the bike with the sensor disconnected for two days when I installed the Ape CCT a while back.. Didn't notice a difference..

Thumbs up

the ignition control modul (ICM) varies ignition timing according to the engine speed. The throttle sensor signals the ICM to compensate the ignition timing according to the throttle opening.

I use this motor for a power plant for my pulling tractor. The problem that im running into is that im losing power at top end. The tractor stays in first gear all the time. Everything came from a wrecked bike. I did find that my computer case had a impact crack in it that went all around it. I replaced it hoping it fixes it but im out of ideas.
