so i boiught a new tank protector for just the belt buckle area and it is supposed to have a sticky adhesive that covers the back of it when i opened the packet it did not have the adhesive all the way to the edge what can i get that will make it stick to the tank and not come off any time soon plz any advice is appreciated

 

I would get some high strength spray adhesive and spray the tank protector, it should stick no problem.

 

can i get that at like a normal autozone

 

The 3M Scotchcal paint protection film is pretty good

 

completely off the topic, if I were to peel off the tank protector, would it take the paint off as well?

 

No. Let it sit in the sun to warm up. Start at a corner & peel off.

I don't mean to hijack your thread. Just a few off topic questions, how big is our tank? and how many miles can you usually put on for a tank of gas? Is there a way to know if your are running low on gas? Sorry I am new so there are alot of things I just dont know about.

 

4.76gallon tank there should be two wires that plug into the bottom of your fuel tank that run to your guage cluster it will only light up when your low i get about 200 miles to a tank

 

would i be better of using a spray adhesive or a 3m adhesive tape
