staling at idol
hey whats up im new to the site, 00cbrf4 when at idol it stals, i turn it back on, goodfor a min thenit idols then it stals. So i go to pull out and it like trys to buck and stal...when i go over 4000rpms its fine all the way thru the gears, only have problem when i idol and pull out. whats wrong with it? thanks for your help!

It actually sounds to opposite of my old problem: bike idled fine but when riding would be rough, but it just happened throughout the night. I changed the fuel filter, checked carb (they were clean) and turns out a plug was bad even though they all looked good still. You may wanna check that but all four together were about $35 and as long as you have a socket that'll fit in the tight space it not too bad of a job. You may want to try that before you take it to the dealer and get an automatic $250 or so charge if your mechanically inclined...

thats what my bike did, the fan would kick on and the rpms would jump up/down then stall if you didnt give it gas...since I replaced the fuel prump and filter has been fine

Hey Chad, Dont know what is wrong with your bike, but mine does the same thing. Ran GREATall winter long and now that it is warming up outside it want's to stall when I have been riding for about 15 minits and it idle's. I've been researhing the problem and I think alot of people have this problem. I think it's somthing to do with the fuel leaner when it is hotter outside. I am a auto mechanic but dont know much about bikes. I might take it to a dealer, havnt decided yet what I will do. Let me know if you come up with anything.
