I'd buy a speedo healer if you want any resale value. Didn't buy one for mine, but I plan to ride it until it sends a piston through the block.

I guess, I don't need a speedo healer as well.
I'm never going to sell my bike.
The reason is....I have a lot of plans for this baby.

Ok. First thing's first. You don't have to count the teeth on your rear sprockets, it states the number right on it.

-1 +2 combo is the max you can do on a stock chain. Anything larger than a +2 in the rear and you will have to buy a longer chain.

Speedohealer is necessary for ANY type of a change in sprocket setup, IF you want to have your speedometer AND odometer read correct mileage.

-2 in the front would cause your chain to wear out faster (because of a tighter bend in the chain).

What are you trying to get out of your bike?? Do you want top speed? Acceleration? A little bit of both? What are your intentions? These are the questions that will help you decide on what sprocket setup you will want.

I'm looking for acceleration, and people told me -1/+2 is the best set-up.
Thanks for your help.
Sorry, for sounding dumb here.

HEY GUYS, well my sprockets were shot and my chain is a piece. So i recently put on the -1/+2 combo. I guess this is my review for people that are not sure about what gearing they want. My bike currently has dyno jet kit and chopped wiley co exhaust.

Well to get on with it. The install is of course straight forward. Make sure u double check ur specs on torques when reinstalling the sprockets.

I took my bike for a spin. 1st gear is crazy! I weigh 175lbs. I laid on the tank and wot in 1st the front wheel felt really light but did not come up. All the gears have crazy pulling power now. I didnt install a speedo healer so i checked my 60mph with my buddy next to me doing 60mph. Im running about 5150rpm in 6th reading 66mph which is actually 60mph if it was corrected. Other then that it is worth the money guys or gals. Dont hesitate just do the whole combo at once! Ive seen several half decent riders pull low 11's in the quarter. any questions lemme know.

You don't sound dumb, don't worry. Anyways, go with a -1 +2. You will gain acceleration... and you would still be able to hit 145mph if needed. And this combo let's you keep the stock chain. So, just buy a couple of sprockets and enjoy. You will certainly feel the change.

Got them from Kneedraggers, but some peeps here have had some bad experience from them.
So I'm a little worried, I hope I get the right parts from them.
