Sprockets
I have a -1/+2 set on my F4. It pulls pretty hard. The newer 1000cc bikes only pull 3-6 bike lengths on me on the staight at Buttonwillow. My sprockes were made in France ([:'(]) but they came with the bike when I bought it.
I have a -1,+2 setup on mine as well. I really like it. I got mine from www.sumofallparts.net . The sprockets are vortex, and the chain is RK.
12" stretch? Someone's been sniffing too much bike fumes..
The f4 doesn't need any stretch, just needs to be properly ridden. I'd recommend -1 in the front to begin with, till you get used to it.

I have the RK/Vortex 520 kit on my bike. I have a -1 front sprocket, aluminum rear with the stock amount of teeth and a RK light weight racing 520 chain. Over all it's a nice set up and gave the bike more punch, but still freeway friendly.
dont dog the man I thought about stretching mine too. For the look I guess but I know Its kinda squid like but If ya like it ya like if not to bad, I decided to stretch mine when I picked the front wheel at 80.
I have -1 front and +4 rear with aluminum spockets, and a 520RK Gold chain. This setup is sweet. I have used only -1 front and -1,+2on my past F3s and both worked out great. I just went +4 in the rear because I've been getting back into wheelies. I think itsdepends on the person when you choose sprocket combos. My speedo reads about 15 mph off on the freeway when I am in 6th gear, but I usuallyonly look at the tach.
as for stretching it, that would be cool, i like slammed and stretched sportbikes. the only thing is that you would need to get a lotlonger chain. 12" over sounds like a lot to stretch an F4. maybe look into 6" over instead. I have a lowering link on my F4 and will slam it when I cruise the beach, but put it back to stock when doing canyons and stunting.
