Default Spark Plugs!

Hey all,

On again looking help, the old girl still isnt running right and after checking again i think i have the wrong plugs in her, does anyone know what the gap settings should be on the plugs for a 2000 600 F4??

I have NGK CR9EH at the min but after checking manual it says they should be NGK CR9HE, im assuming they will be different so wondering what the gap should be!

Cheers again!

Jonny

Cheers for that, that manual im using has a big section on the injection models so im assuming that the other serial no are for those!

Do u know if its ok to clean adn reset these plugs and use them again, have heard that some have a coating on them and once its gone they dont work, so can only really be used for a while then have to be replaced!

Cheers

I have heard the same thing, can somebody confirm that there is a coating on the NGK CR9EH-9 standard plugs ?? I have recently cleaned a set of low mileage CR9EH-9s and re-gapped due to getting fuel fouled. It appears they are sparking well when tested but I think there is not enough spark to ignite the fuel based on what I hear about the coating ? From what I'm told I need to go and spend the $40 on the set of four plugs due to them being ruined from cleaning
